Image Doctor uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Analytics is optional and remains disabled unless you accept it.

Essential preference cookie

image_doctor_analytics records whether you accepted or rejected analytics so we do not ask on every visit. It lasts for 180 days and does not identify your image, website or email address.

Google Analytics

If accepted, Google Analytics may set cookies including _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and provide aggregate usage reporting. We use it to measure the recovery funnel and improve the service. Image URLs, filenames and email addresses are not sent as event parameters.

Other local storage

The current free recovery keeps the recovered image in browser memory only for the session. Future site-scan features may use IndexedDB to preserve a recovery checkpoint; those features are not part of the free single-image workflow.

Change your choice

You can reopen the consent control below. Rejecting analytics prevents the Google Analytics tag from loading on later pages. You may also clear existing cookies through your browser settings.
